HLIRR was asked to assist a transformer manufacturer for a warranty related project. HLIRR had the 207,000 lb. transformer removed from the factory’s clients substation, transported over the road to a rail siding, loaded to a HLI provided railcar, secured in place and railed from the substation back to the factory for a warranty repair.
