HLI railed this 620,000 lb Gas Turbine, from the Port of Charleston, SC, to the customer in South Greenville, SC. There was a minor delivery delay due to tropical storm Irma. Once it was safe, HLI’s crew returned to the port and resumed the preparation of our new Schnabel railcar to accept the gas turbine.
The HLIX 2018, is a 515 ton capacity Schnabel Railcar. Gross Capacity: 1, 028,350 lbs. in full Schnabel mode.
